Introduction
The offer and sale of products on our website (“marnage.com”) are governed by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Products purchased on marnage.com are sold directly by SAS Ateliers Marnage.
In accordance with Article 6 of French Law no. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004, for trust in the digital economy, users of the website http://marnage.com/ are informed of the identity of the parties involved in its creation and maintenance:

Our Commercial Policy
MARNAGE conducts its e-commerce activity exclusively with end users who are final consumers.
The essential characteristics of the products are presented on marnage.com within the product sheets. Images and colors may not exactly match the real products due to the browser or screen used.
“Final consumer(s)” means any natural person acting for purposes unrelated to their business or professional activity. If you are not a “final consumer,” you are asked not to make transactions on marnage.com.
MARNAGE reserves the right not to process orders from anyone who is not a “final consumer” or any orders not compliant with our commercial policy.
Delivery
For in-stock purchases: bags in stock are delivered within six (6) business days from the effective receipt of payment.
For made-to-order purchases: bags are specially produced for you. Average lead time is 7 weeks (3 weeks for leather sourcing, 3 weeks for production, 1 week for shipping). Depending on leather availability, shorter times may apply. If delays extend, you will be informed within 15 days of order confirmation. You may cancel and be fully refunded if the additional delay does not suit you.
Shipping & Customs
MARNAGE ships worldwide*, with express shipping internationally and standard shipping within France, both insured.
For non-EU countries, purchases are tax-free but may be subject to customs duties at the destination. These costs vary by country and remain your responsibility.
*Excluded destinations include: North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Turkmenistan, Yemen (non-exhaustive list subject to international transport conditions).
Delivery Issues
If your product is damaged in transit or missing, compensation/replacement is possible only if the following conditions are met:

Reservations made with the carrier at delivery

Detailed photos provided of the damages, packaging, and waybill.
Deadlines:

Domestic shipments: within 6 business days of delivery

International shipments: within 21 calendar days of delivery
Mandatory carrier reservations:
Recipient must open the package at delivery and note precise, dated, and signed reservations on the delivery document.

If these steps are not followed, MARNAGE cannot obtain insurance compensation, and no refund/replacement can be made.
Any customs fees for returns remain at the customer’s expense.
Payment
Payment by credit/debit card is encrypted and transmitted securely to the bank. MARNAGE never stores or uses these details except for refunds or fraud prevention/reporting.
Product prices are charged upon order validation. Prices may change; please confirm final price before submitting the order.
Conclusion of Purchase Contract
To purchase, you must fill in the electronic order form and submit it online following instructions.
The form includes links to these Terms and Conditions, product features, prices, and delivery details.
The contract is considered concluded once MARNAGE validates your order electronically after verifying the order data.
Orders must be submitted in French or English.
If products are unavailable, MARNAGE will offer a made-to-order option. If refused, the order is canceled without charge.
By submitting an order, you accept these Terms and Conditions without reservation.
Right of Withdrawal
You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving products, without penalty and without giving reason.
Returned products must be sent within 14 days at your own expense and responsibility to:

Custom-made, promotional, or sale items cannot be returned. Returned products must be unused, undamaged, and in original packaging.
Refunds are processed within 30 days upon receipt and inspection of returned products in perfect condition.
Warranty & After-Sales Service
MARNAGE sells only luxury, first-quality products. No second-hand or defective products are sold.
Products are covered by the legal warranty against hidden defects under EU Directive 1985/374/EEC, valid for one year from purchase.
Warranty covers manufacturing defects only and excludes normal wear, misuse, poor maintenance, exposure to extreme conditions, or damage during transport.
To benefit, you must contact MARNAGE by email for prior approval. Response is provided within 72 business hours. No warranty product is accepted without prior written approval.
If irreparable, products may be exchanged (within 12 weeks) or refunded. Shipping costs are reimbursed up to €50 with proof of invoice.
If warranty does not apply, MARNAGE may still provide paid after-sales service upon estimate and approval.
Governing Law
These online sales conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, notwithstanding multiple defendants or third-party claims.
